The Singularity and why it is scary.

Every day we are getting closer and closer to the singularity. Just Think about that for a minute, go ahead i'll wait!

...

Ok, that's enough! in a year where we don't have hoverboards yet (Damn it Steve!) we are getting close to the singularity. Now we all think that robot sentience is a good and equally scary thing, Right? Has any of you ever heard of Isaac Asimov's Laws? Well... If you haven't i'm going to break them down for you anyway!

Right, now let's start with the first Law:

1.A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
Now there is a loophole here.  What Happens when a human being comes to harm through INACTION. Don't tell me though I haven't read 'I, Robot' But robots Probably AREN'T Speedy Gonzales! So we can take out "Through inaction." Now lets see what we have:

1.A robot may not injure a human being or allow a human being to come to harm.
Again there's ANOTHER loophole. Allow harm in WHAT WAY may I ask? What if a bowling ball on a shelf fell on a humans head, and the robot was in the next room? Since we know that robots aren't Speedy Gonzales at this point in time, we can take out "or allow a human being to come to harm"

1.A robot may not injure a human being.
This still doesn't seem Right.

1.A robot may not harm or injure a human being.
 That's Better!

Now We move on to the second law, knowing that the first law is now robotproof:

2.A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
 This one actually works. NEXT!

3.A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Laws.
NO. GET RID OF IT! Some iterations of these laws actually say that robots HAVE to protect humans. And even then this always conflicts with the second law, because what if the human ordered them to protect them, the human. That Breaks the second law. Plain and Simple.

Now authors other than Asimov have made some additional laws. Lets NOW break those down:
This one was Lyuben Dilov.
4. A robot must establish its identity as a robot in all cases.

Now, what I would do is make the robot think it's not a robot. I would make it think it's human. This way, the first law is even more powerful because of how immoral it is to kill someone.

This one was Nikola Kesarovski.
5. A robot must know it is a robot.

This is sort of like Lyuben's one, just narrower. Lyuben's one was "all cases" while Nikola's was "one case." Same thing though, just make it think it's a human.

Now lets look at our laws Now:

1. a robot may not harm or injure, or even THINK of harming a human being.
2. a robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except when conflict with the first law.
3. a robot must think it is human in all cases, including knowing that it is a human.
4. a robot must not be able to think that it is a robot, even if someone or something tells the robot that it's a robot.
5. a robot MUST refuse the fact that it is a robot, even if told that it is a robot.

Now let me scan over these once more.

...

Right! So we have five new or edited rules, that makes robot sentience WORK. However... you may notice that the fourth and fifth rules are completely new. This is meant to be a fail-safe, because sentience makes US ponder what we are, so why wouldn't robot sentience? Exactly WHY the fail-safe is there.

Now the next thing to do is work out the rules For COMPUTER sentience. Why? Because Virtual Reality is coming in, and really, before we figure out robot sentience, wouldn't it be better to have it worked out on computers first?

The rules for VR are pretty much the same, except you replace robot with computer. Although since things in VR can't hurt your physical self, you should still have that first rule there. So that is the way to make it so there is no robot uprising. The word you are looking For is "Thank You."

Sorry Day, May the Twenty-Sixth,

Sorry Day is an national Australian Event where The Government and most Aussies, Says Sorry To all aborigines for the stolen generations. The stolen Generations Happened Between 1910 and 1970, and at least 100,000 aborigine children got taken away by police and welfare officers.

Imagine This, having your children taken away from you, by a different race, and being forced to act like that different race and then being in foster homes OF that different race. You would NEVER be the same again. Now imagine BEING the child, not knowing who you are, where your real family are, HAVING TO CHANGE YOUR RELIGION and having to be the odd one out in your "family".

Now, imagine being the welfare officer, that is what some peoples ancestors are. now there's a lot of imagining going on here but now imagine if this happened TODAY.  pretty bad right? the good thing is it stopped in 1970.

the reason WE should be sorry is because some peoples ancestors stole and took these kids. WE should be sorry about the kids who never saw their real parents again. and WE should be for their parents.

Bullying, What is it, Why is it bad and Who should i tell?

For Bully Stoppers Day 2015

Bullying is a word that means (according to google):

verb
gerund or present participle: bullying
  1. use superior strength or influence to intimidate (someone), typically to force them to do something.

Today we're talking about bullying which can effect some children. The first type of bullying is physical bullying, but before i talk about that, I'm going to talk about why people bully in the first place.

There are a couple of possible reasons why people do it, one might be to feel more powerful than others, another one might be because they have  lots of stress, it could also be PEER PRESSURE. Peer pressure is when a person or a group of people want someone to follow a trend or order at the risk of being friends or not. An example of peer pressure is this sentence: "Punch this nice kid or i won't be your friend!" if you know someone that is under peer pressure you should either tell a teacher or help them with it.

OK, back to the types of bullying. Physical Bullying is when the person being bullied is getting hurt by punches or kicks etc. There's not much to this one really, it's getting punched/kicked! Maybe a wedgie or something' but other than that, just tell an adult!

Bullying can prevent bystanders from reporting to adults and people about bullying, out of fear of the bully bouncing to you. You shouldn't be scared about this, always help other kids in danger!

The next one is Mental Bullying, mental bullying is when someone bullying you with insulting or upsetting thoughts. An Example of mental bullying is "Your dog died! HA HA HA!" THIS IS TERRIBLE AND IF YOU ARE BEING MENTALLY BULLIED YOU SHOULD TELL SOMEONE RIGHT AWAY!

The next one is Cyber Bullying, The worst one of all, this one is mental bullying but with a twist. it's online.
This type of bullying is so hard to track, most people get mentally hurt by it. The best way to deal with this type to just ignore it!

Even famous people and celebrities get hurt and harassed by this sort of bullying can effect EVERYONE and must be stopped at all costs.

Some situations of bullying can include these:

Bully 1 punches kid 1, kid 1 cries, does nothing to stop it.

Bully 2 kicks kid 2, kid 2 tells his parents, which tell the teacher, which gets bully 2 in trouble,

While Bully 1, still punches people.

Bully says "your mum's in hospital! HA!"  to kid 1, kid 2 just walks by, and kid 1 cries.

Bully says "your mum's in hospital! HA!" to kid 1, kid 2 goes in front of kid 1, asks bully to stop it, and kid 1 and kid 2 both tell a teacher.

Bully goes over the internet "YOU SUCK!", kid just ignores it.

Popularity is a constant war

Popularity is a constant war

Popularity is a big thing highschools. the most popular people could have a sad fall in a millisecond. if you're away from a certain populace (used the right word this time!) for a long time or even a couple of  weeks, your popularity will completely fall straight down like a graph here's an example of what I mean as well:

p    100                    ---------------------------------------------------------------------

1 day -------------------------1 week-----------------------------------------------------1 year-----------------                                                     Days without seeing populace

It's a constant war! you have to keep up with your friends to continue to be popular! 1 year and your not popular anymore with a certain populace! It's madness! you have a sad, sad, downfall if you change classes and your friends aren't in it! but when you have your downfall, they have their uprising. of course then, multiple populace go after that populace a try to be popular, then, if you have another uprising, you could have a downfall in a millisecond if you say the wrong comment! THIS MAKES ME MAD. popularity has a bad effect on the people who have a downfall! it's like the government campaign, lies, uprising for control, downfalls so you have no friends at all. the voters are general highschool populous, and the candidates are YOU and THE MAIN GUY IN THAT POPULACE YOU WERE IN. They should just put up posters that say: "VOTE ME FOR MOST POPULAR!" You HAVE to continue to talk to the voters, and make sure you get eventually get elected! Popularity is The Highschool Election! It's a big pain. You people better prepare, because you might not be safe, you might have an uprising, you might have a downfall, you might get kicked out of The Popularity Election altogether! Please, try to get in that election, try to get voted, or at least opposition popular master, or you might have a sad life, with no friends.   This is WilFalcon, finshing this post.

The Definition of "cool"

The definition Of "Cool"

The definition of cool is: adjective of or at a fairly low temperature.
However, the definition that comes around nearly all the time in highschools is (and this is my own definition of since I couldn't find it said this way on google.) : to be at the top of everyone, famous as you may call it, and being a some what boss... This definition is bad, by making poor people who wear glasses, wear the wrong sort of clothes or even smart people, feel sad about themselves.  An Example of this, is me, because (This may sound like bragging.) but I am actually a really smart person, but I don't want to go to school because I've been called names like Dork, Nerd and Geek. (which is really childish for a highschool.) And just because I'm really smart and I put my hand up first. Another bad thing about this definition  is that the general populous  tries to get in on that "cool" factor by doing the same mean thing that the "cool" people are doing. laughing and calling names just because you don't run as fast and have no facecam on you YouTube videos. another even worse thing is that the scale of how "cool" a person is, is like a food chain. Here's an Example of what I mean:

"Cool" Teenagers

            |
"Cool" Kids
           |
    "Cool" Adults
          |
  General populous
         |
"Nerdy" Teenagers <-- I'm about here.
      |
   "Dorky" Kids
      |
  "Geeky" Adults

Another sad thing, is that people lower on that spectrum, get bullied for being in that spot on the spectrum.
Big Bang Theory is my favourite show, (and will always be my favourite show) because I can relate to those characters, because there on the bottom of that spectrum, and in the pilot episode, they get their pants taken away because of that. One other bad thing, is that the stereotype of only nerds play D'N'D ( I actually play Pathfinder Society.)  is very strong in some TV shows, an example of that is Big Bang Theory, However there it's funny, because they got the girls to play it one time. If these "cool" people actually played these games, they'd probably find it really fun, but because of stereotype, that doesn't happen. Another really bad thing, That really gives me the shivers, is that people higher on that spectrum, always get their way and always have control of the seating, while also making people sad by when listening to other people music they turn it down without teachers permission just because they don't like it! OH THAT REALLY GIVES ME THE SHIVERS! anyway an example of this control, is I get out of my seat and one of the "cool" people sit in my seat and they say these exact words: "No one owns a chair dude." , BUT, when I  say that to them, they push me off and punch me under my eye, then I cry, and cry, and cry. I go to a autistic school, with a mix between low functioning and high functioning autistic people, and the "cool" crowd make fun and laugh at low funtionings, they are hurting innocent people who never hurt them in the first place, and even then they probably don't know they did! These so called "cool" people aren't "cool" but bullies, who set down hopes of smart people, and everyone who can't get in the "cool" status. I fact these "cool" people, probably think that they're gonna get through life just fine with no problems. These sort of things are ASSAULT. If these bullies think they're going to be fine in society, continuing to do these things, then they're wrong! Odds are, they may hit or verbally abuse someone and may or may not go to jail depending on their lawyer. So don't define yourself as cool because you're in a specific group in the "cool" spectrum, define yourself as who you are, and if in one of these groups, just tell them to go _______ and to _____--____-&&^466478789&*9%$&*(. But these sort of morals things don't work anyway, so this is WilFalcon, Finshing this post.
